Affiliate Marketing Problems for Indians
August 5th, 2007 at 09:16 pm by ashok in Affiliate MarketingLast year I started this blog to write my experience with affiliate marketing and to write some tips, however got engaged and was not regular in writing, and very few post which i wrote was sponsored post, got some offers from my clients to write about their site or product, sometime posts was very much offtopic but I accepted, thought instead of not writing anything writing something is good.
Also my focused shifted from affiliate marketing, as I start founding some difficulties. My favorite affiliate network was commission Junction and I earned good revenues through it also. But the major problem I found there is that many good affiliate programs in CJ don’t accept indian affiliates, infact maximum leads program rejects Indian affiliates application auotmatically.
There are many other programs which may accept Indian affiliates, but they don’t want Indian traffic.
There was one merchant whome I was promoting but when we send indian traffic to him, their sites shows different page full of google ads. Means the merchant was earning on traffic sends by affiliates, without giving any credit to affiliates.

I Agree absolutely with you, Some of the Affiliate Programs are just encashing on our traffic . They are promoting some products with no absolute value and are very difficult to convert. Previously i have promoted a affiliate program with thousands of visitors but finally ended with out any conversion. I am completely unsuccessful with cj.
In affiliate marketing you have to distinguish between junk and gold, there are 80% programs which are junk, how hard you try you can’t earn from them. First thing is choose right program, if you have choosen right program you can earn loads of money.
the reason why they auto decline the application from Asian webmasters is because thats the price we pay now for what dickheaded webmasters has been doing. who is unable to earn money in legit way. These d**k heads usually try to earn by cheating. What they do is usually if its lead program they make fake leads but they doing it in Big way by creating a network. This is the reason why merchants dont like indian or asian publishers mostly. Even few days back one of newbie indian webmaster asked me how to earn online. I said him affilaites and lead programs. the next thingy he asked was “WHY NOT WE CREATE A GANG AND SUBMIT FAKE LEADS” ? ROFL that was funny !!. i simply replied “YOU WILL NEVER MAKE MONEY ONLINE EVEN IN 2050″ lol.
regarding the adnse pages on affiliates it beacuse they dont want or either no use of Indian traffic. ex: what is the use of Indian traffic to US publisher ? he cant ship goods or give loans.lol just my 2 cents. In affiliate those kinda merchants who usses adsense or other banners in their site are usually called as “Leaky Merchants”. publisher should usually avoid those kinda merchants bcos they make the sales escape.
