All hosting services providers have a few things in common. They all promise cheap web hosting, regardless of their rates. Only a few turn out to provide dedicated hosting. Ideally the hosting service should be able to work alongside broadband. Insiders with history of web hosting jobs can guide one through this.

Three reasons why I like contest
July 8th, 2007 at 03:34 pm by ashok in ContestOne of the things which i like in blogging is contests and group activities which going on in blogosphere.
When I started my blog in last August, one of the plan in my mind was to run contest etc in my blog. I first started a contest for technorati favorite exchange and get good results. There were around 20 participants, although my blog was very new at that time. After that i got busy in my hosting business and other activities and did not get the time to organize any contest. But whenever I saw some contest or similar activities in blogosphere I try to participate in that. The three main reasons for participating in contest are
- Getting Notice: If we participate in any contest, we get noticied from fellow bloggers, who also participated in that contest.
- Getting Links : Many contest in blogospehere result in good quantitiy of quality backlinks to your blog. And I think everyone know the importance of quality backlinks, not only you will get traffic from that you will also get boost in your search engine position because of quality backlinks.
- And Last but not least is you have the chance to win good prize from contest.
This post was written as part of DailyBlogTips Blog Project: Three.
A back up server is very important for any site. The backup software should be reliable too. The threat of data loss rises with frequency of online file sharing. This is why the system s own hard drive data recovery should be in top working condition. Membership in an online data recovery group helps too.

Traffic Generation Methods For Your Blog
July 7th, 2007 at 04:27 pm by ashok in TrafficMany Blogger try to get links in order to generate traffic, but there are many more methods, some are free and some are paid. I am writing few
- The First method is recycle your blog posts into new articles and submit to article directory. There article dirrectories receive thousands and thousands of qualified visitors every day. When you submit your articles to these directories, your name and your blog name are shown to thousands of visitors. On most article directories, you are also permitted to include a “resource box” where you can include your contact details, a simple biography and so on. This is where you can truly leverage the traffic of the said article directories. Some good article directories to get you started:
- Second method to get traffic is to join internet forums that is based on your niche. To find these kind of forums, just go to any search engine and enter “ +forum”, without the quotes. You would want the most focused forum with a substantial number of active members, and preferably always bustling with activity. Just check the dates of the threads posted on the forum. You can find my previous article on getting traffic from message board useful.
- blog and ping technique is also a useful technique to generate traffict. Basically, when you update your blog, you can let blog portals such as www.technorati.com know by pinging them. You can ping a lot of portals at once by using the free www.pingomatic.com.
- Besides the techniques described here, there are also paid methods like buying links from high-ranking pages or buying banner advertisement space. A thing to keep in mind when buying paid traffic is to always weigh your profits generated from the paid ads. If your profits do no offset the expense, you will end up losing money, so choose wisely.

Connect Fast With WiMAX
July 5th, 2007 at 05:34 pm by ashok in GeneralSince the advent of internet, there are many technolgies have come to connect to Cyberspace. Latest in this is WiMAX. WiMAX stand for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access. The purpose of Wimax is to provide wireless data over long distance.
There are many potential uses of WiMAX Technology, important one is access to internet in areas where there is no pre-exisitng cable of telephone network. It can provide a wireless alternative to cable and DSL.
Some other uses of WiMAX can be :
- Connecting Wi-Fi hotspots with each other
- To provide high speed data and telecommunication services.
- Providing Last Mile broadband access
- Data intensive application
WiMAX is also suited for areas where there is low population density. In countries where because of high costs, wired infrastructure is skipped. WiMAX can increase wireless infrastructre in inexpensive manner.
Some people get confused between Wi-Fi and WiMAX, although there are some similarlity between both like, both provide wireless connectivity and Internet. But both are aimed at different applications.
- WiMAX is long range system, covering many kilometers.
- Wi-Fi is a shorter range system, generally works in few hundreds of meters.

Cheap and quality printing services
July 2nd, 2007 at 03:52 pm by ashok in GeneralEveryone needs printing services, it may be for simple business card or Broucher for their product or business. Earl er when internet was not so much spread choice of using printing service was limited and you had to be dependent on local printing press. But now this is not the case, by just pressing few buttons in your PC you can get lots of option. There are many companies which are providing color printing online via their sites.
When you saw a site offering cheap printing service, you may think that company is providing cheap or low quality also. Going for cheap quality service is not good idea, if you want something for your business, as it will directly affect your business. You will not like to give a business card to your client, in which ink is spread or paper is of poor quality, as it will reflect on your business.
As discussed in Brochure Printing in article High quality cheap 4 color printing services You can get cheap services if you order in bulk, as the cost of printing ink, designing reduced in large quantity order.
So if you want a cheap and quality service, always go for bulk order.
