Today I was reading in Gobala’s blog his latest article. He has written about four method which he used to generate traffic.

1. PPC or Pay-Per-Click
2. Email Marketing
3. Blog, Tag, Ping
4. Writing and Publishing Articles

Out of the four methods, I only use PPC for internet marketing. Blog, Tag, Ping is generally for blogs only and it does not work for other type of sites.

Out of other two methods, which I am thinking since long to use, but could not, because writing articles I always used to found it difficult, but after started blogging I think I can use this mode also.

Email marketing is also a good method, but for email marketing, the important thing is list, that is to whom you have to send the email.

Many successful intenet marketer says the money is in the list, if you have list then you can earn good amount of earning through it.

Although I never seriously tried to create a list. But I am in list of many Internet marketers and observe that how they create list and their marketing method.

One of the method which many marketer use to create list is give a freebie as a bonus of signing generally an ebook. This I found is very effective method to create list.

The other important thing in email marketing is how honest you are, this make member of your list follower of your recommendations. If you promote crap and worthless thing in your list, many people will unsubscribe from the list or stop following your recommendations.

In next year one of my plan is creating a good list, are you also planning to create a list?

6. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say: “I am very rich. Marry me!” She gives you a nice hard slap on your face. - That’s Customer Feedback.
7. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say: “I am very rich. Marry me!” And she introduces you to her husband. - That’s demand and supply gap.
8. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and before you say anything, another person come and tell her: “I’m rich. Will you marry me?” and she goes with him - That’s competition eating into your market share.
9. You see and gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and before you say: “I’m rich Marry me!” your wife arrives. - That’s restriction for entering new markets

   Why people fail in Internet Marketing

   I read many blogs visits many forums. I found many people on different forums who says that after spending time and working hard they are not earning enough money through net.
   
   Below I am writing four points why people fail in Internet Marketing
   

   1. They do not find right market to target. The market from which I am making money does not mean that you will also earn money from that market .Every people has different taste and understanding about subject, so people should target only on those market which they understand.
   2. Do not choose right marketing method. Totally different marketing approach is required to generate traffic and producing sale for different market. The method which works for dating site will not work for golf site.
   3. Do not feel the need to track their marketing approach. With so many tools are available which help to analyze the markeitng method, people do not feel the need to analyze their marketing approch. Which results that energy is spent on non-productive area.
   4. Website is beginning not end. People are generally in the impression that since they have developed a good looking attractive website, their job is over. Infact job starts after developing the website.

   Orkut integrated with Adwords

   Today when I login to adwords account. I found this message is displaying prominently

   New! orkut.com is now part of the Google advertising network.
   With site targeting you can select specific communities on which to advertise. Run text, image, and Flash ads on orkut to start gaining new customers.

   Orkut was famous for not displaying any ads, but since last few months people were noticing few ads in Orkut. With this changes I think there will be more ads on Orkut.
   
   Site targeting feature is not new in adwords, but the thing which fascinate me is that advertiser can select specific communities to target their ad. Definately this feature will allow more specific targeting and give better return to their investment.

   Myspace Marketing

   Myspace is one of the favorite place not only for teens and youths, but also of internet marketer. With more 100million profiles in myspace, every one can found their niche on this site.
   
   But recently Myspace has changed their terms, they have banned posting of affiliate links. According to excerpt from their new terms
   

   Non-commercial Use by Members. The MySpace Services are for the personal use of Members only and may not be used in connection
   with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically
   endorsed or approved by MySpace.com. Illegal and/or unauthorized
   use of the MySpace Services, including collecting usernames
   and/or email addresses of Members by electronic or other means
   for the purpose of sending unsolicited email or unauthorized
   framing of or linking to the MySpace Website is prohibited.
   Commercial advertisements, affiliate links, and other forms of
   solicitation may be removed from Member profiles without notice
   and may result in termination of Membership privileges.
   Appropriate legal action will be taken for any illegal or
   unauthorized use of the MySpace Services.

   It appears the Myspace is also in talk with affiliate networks for forcing affiliate not to use myspace for promotion.
