Just received an email, that now Indian can withdraw funds to their bank account directly from paypal, and there is no charges for that if you are withdrawing over INR 7000.

This was much awaited features many Indian were looking. Last month paypal had introduced withdrawl via visa credit card. I used that method previous month it was also convenient. But withdrawl directly into bank is definately most preferred method for many Indian paypal user.

I am just logging in to see how many Indian banks are supported in that.

Update: Following banks are supported :

State Bank of India , Bank of India, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, ING VYSYA Bank, UTI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, Citibank are the participating banks.
