According to a recent study released on Monday by Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers, US Internet advertisig revenue rose 37 percent in the first six months of the year, hitting a record of nearly $8 billion.
Some notable points of report are :

• Although the volume of search and email ad formats increased but their percnetage of the total market value is same (40% and 2%).
• There is 85% revenue up in referrals/lead generation.
• Display related ads was up in volume but fell 3% against the other formats. However there is a 1% gain in the sub-category Ad Banners/Display Ads.

So if you are still not in affiliate marketing, you are loosing a great marketshare.
